On a UK work permit, can I travel to N Ireland as a tourist?

I (Indian) am in UK on a work permit visa. Can I travel to Northern Ireland as freely as I can travel to Scotland on this visa anytime. I plan to go there by last week of Dec 2008. My visa expires on 31st Dec and on 30th I am returning back to India.

Northern Ireland is part of the UK so you won’t need a visa.

The Republic of Ireland is NOT part of the UK, but has an uncontrolled border, so you can travel freely there, but cannot work there.
