I am visiting a friend for about 2 to 3 weeks

I traveled to England recently but was denied entry because I didn’t have enough money to support myself for a three week stay. How much should I have if I only want to stay 5 days? I don’t mind staying in cheap hotels or even hostels. Would $1,000 USD be enough ? Is it necessary that I apply for entry clearance also?

Okay so I’ve been thinking that i really want to travel some where next summer or may be the next summer after that. I have always wanted to travel to the UK. I’m mostly wondering what plane tickets would cost. I’m really looking for the cheapest way to get there and back. I’d love advice and tips for traveling.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh and also I live in Colorado, USA.

i am going to study in sunderland in uk and my gf will b at poland. i would like to know how much time n money it takes to travel from uk to poland by train. what do i have to prepare, visa? or anything. Pleae kindly provide information..

Around how much would I need to travel around the UK for about a month? How much do buses, trains, etc generally cost? Any suggestions at keeping prices at a minimal?
